Seattle and then some...

So Tanner and I got to spend Valentines in Seattle, he got a call from his old companion Chase saying he was getting married on Valentines, then mentioned how he'd love him to go to the Temple ceremony in Seattle, and we figured Tanner had PTO and I could get work off so we made a mini vacation of it, we left on Feb. 11Th and came back on the 15Th. We decided to not put miles on our car so we got plane tickets, which by the way i HATE flying SO much!!! But we headed of at 1 and got there at 1, time differences of course. We got on a shuttle to pick up the car we rented. Thankfully we got a GPS or we would of never found anything! Our hotel was only a block away from Space needle so it was an amazing site! We basically ate and went to the hotel room after driving around and we decided to stay in for the night. we were exhausted and just went to sleep. the next day we headed to the aquarium which was fun and right there on the ocean! It was windy though. Then we hung out with Chase and his soon to be Wife Lanae, and we hit up underground Seattle, which was cool, but not what i expected, but we got to go underneath the sidewalks and everything. Back in the 1900's they used skylights to light up underneath when they built over it
They covered all them up, but this one uncovered its self. Then after this we went to Pikes fish Marget. Which was really cool, but i hate fish so the smell was NOT good.
This is where they do the shouting and fish throwing. after that we headed back to the hotel and went to bed early again (not missing the office of course haha) on 13Th we hit up the woodland zoo, which is HUGE 92 acres.
This is us pretending we're owls. haha i didn't get the owl i wanted to in the background though. Later that night we walked down town and by the ocean us on the boardwalk by the ocean. awe downtown Seattle! Now on Valentines day we of course had the Temple wedding to go to (the whole purpose of going down) and getting ready i realized i had left my slip for my skirt at home, made me really stressed i didn't want to go out and buy another one. but then my brain clicked on and i had a white undershirt that i just slipped down and used. haha i didn't have to buy another one since i have like 3 at home for the case of forgetting it on trips. it worked out great. well we headed to the Temple and waited awhile before having to go in and so we walked around the grounds for awhile
Valentines the day of love, it was amazing to see two people get married for time and all eternity! We ended up not staying to meet them outside the temple since they'd be to busy with family and they aren't doing a reception until April so we left back to Seattle to go to the EMP museum for my hubby he wanted to go there SO bad! after that we didn't have any dinner plans but just for fun decided to see if you could get in the restaurant on the top of the space needle, and we were able too! it was beautiful! and good food!
Tanner and Seattle, so the where you ate it moved slowly so you could eventually see all around it.
me down town, I'm not going to lie the spinning and height kinda made me motion sickness, but i soon got over it.
It looks SO beautiful when the sun went down!!! The next day we got up early to head to the airport Waiting for the plane :-( i miss Seattle terribly and i do kinda hate being back to work but all is well.

Well on other news to catch up, I still work at Subway :( I'd love another job but with the way the economy is i can't seem to get another, but I'll stay until Tanner and i have a baby... which by the way doesn't seem to come easy, i seriously thought i was pregnant last month, had all the symptoms but that was not the case after all. It was pretty hard. 4 months and still nothing :( we wanted to keep it on the DL but some how my in laws found out and my mom new since i needed to ask questions but everyone knows and now if i have the flu or anything people think I'm pregnant and hiding it. (trust me if i was pregnant you'd all know) but Tanner and I are doing great LOVING married life. we have been married for 6 months now :-) well my "birthday" is coming up... i don't get a real one this year (i hate leap years by the way) not to excited about it. The big 21 isn't to exciting for Mormons haha oh well hope all is well with everyone!
