Christmas crafts

So I've been really into crafts lately and of course getting ready for the Christmas mood i went to a ton of dollar stores, Wal-Mart, and Michael's to find idea's. well i found little misc. stuff and i had a TON of candle holder things from my wedding... that i made; so i just took of the ribbons and out the pink rocks and did them for Christmas style and i will put Cinnamon candles in it, but i haven't found quite the perfect thing to put the candle up. But this is what i came up with and I'm not done with them.

Faith, Hope, and Love
Then i went to the dollar store and bought 6 light candles and put ribbon around them. they turned out cute i think. They just need batteries for the light to work.
next i got at the dollar store a wreath hanger and some ornaments that i hot glued onto the wreath hanger.
Then Jessica and i found Little cute signs mine said Hohoho and Falalala and Joy, so i took glitter gels and spiced them up.
I still have a lot more idea's but didn't have time to do them all... I'm so excited for Christmas and to share it with my hubby for the first time being married.

Cakes

So i have been building and decorating cakes for about a year now, and i think I'm pretty good at it. some times it can be way fun to do them.
This one i made up on my own, kinda a little idea from my wedding cake my mom made.
This one took me a few hours to do, they wanted a beach theme and so i had to free hand all of it. i think it turned out dang good.
This one was just a fun idea, it actually is one of my most selling cakes, i do this one a lot.
Nice simple and good.

This one is sweet. this old man came in and wanted a birthday cake for his wife and had me put, happy birthday sweetheart on it. :0)
Gotta love sun flower cakes :0)
One of my all time favorites. it took me forever to figure out how to get the slippers to form that way.
You gotta love Halloween cakes... I love doing cakes (most of the time) and i hope i just get better and better at it as time goes on.

Jessica and Dani day

So today my good friend Jessica and i had a girls day out (with little john of course) but since her hubby is out of town for a few more weeks and i had today off we decided it'd be a blast to catch up. well she was craving olive garden salad and soup (her baby knows what to grave :) ) and so we headed that way and hated the waitress (we didn't give her a big tip) then we decided it'd be fun to go and do shopping for Christmas and Christmas decorations, so we headed to Michael's craft stores, and found cute crafts, and i hurried and took a picture with little john's antlers before he could take it off we found a great thing 10 for $10 so we went all out on ribbons, and stickers and everything. Little John was getting antsy so we found some bubbles to blow at him... later did we find out that they were sticky bubbles that didn't pop but made gooey stuff but he loved it none the lessHe got mad because mommy stopped blowing them... we loved the face he made and he was covered in the gooey bubble stuff it left. it was all over the place.
But we did good, got good crafts and went to two other stores and found great things for cheap and great ideas.
Its blurry but I'm going to take those little ornaments and super glue it to the wreath hanger, yeah got the idea and everything at the dollar store.
I'm so excited for all these crafts. i have some great idea's to use them. to bad we have to wait until after thanksgiving to start decorating for Christmas :0( oh well, i got to hang out with my good married friend Jessica and her son and it felt like old days again.

Some honeymoon

So I have yet to tell a few people about my honeymoon... I don't have a lot of the pictures up because of the camera and it not wanting to work right :-( well my mom let us use her car for our honeymoon so we'd have something nicer then we do now. well my sister and her friend and some of my cousins decorated it after the luncheon right before we left.

It was a pain in the butt to clean it at the gas station afterwards, there were so many balloons in the car its self and i hate popping balloons, but anyway we were finally off to park city to stay in the 5 star hotel park city hotel (thanks to his cousin Phil we got an amazing deal) once we got there we got valet parking and walked right in not having to worry about our bags at all. When we got to the room, (we didn't get the free upgrade the first night but we did on the second night) but it was amazing!
it had its own little living room.
a fire place, with two t.v's in it.
an amazing king size bed.

it had a washer and dryer in it :-)

I remember opening the sliding door to the patio and it was just beautiful! you saw the ski resort right there it was a great night!!! Then the next night we were able to upgrade to the cottage house, it was a Sunday, so were weren't able to do a whole lot, but we did decide to drive around park city Utah. it was raining and just perfect i think :-) then by 4:00 we were able to move to our new room. we walked outside to get there. and this cottage house was bigger then out house. we could of lived there it had everything a stove, washer dryer, dish washer, a huge tub, in the back yard a hot tub, it had a California king size bed, with three fire places one outside, two plasma t.v's and all leather furniture.

I lost the picture to the hot tub but this place was beautiful... we got dressed in nice clothes and headed down to Ruth's restaurant and oh my gosh the best food you could ever have!!! well after that our two nights there, we took off to Salt Lake to finish are honeymoon, monday day we went to the hogle zoo, i love the girafee's!!! Monday night we went to a musical at hale theatre to see the Musical "Big" which was a round theatre that I had never seen, and they were so good that we went back there a few months later to see "into the woods" but anyway then Tuesday was just our relaxation day, and we went to see walle that night, best freaking movie ever!!! Wednesday we headed to temple square to visit everything, out seminary teacher brother chandler and his wife are serving a mission there and they were able to be at our sealing and we did lunch with them Wednesday and then they let us tour places not everyone can go unless your a missionary there. it was amazing, and after that we went and saw the Joseph smith movie. after visiting the beehive house and everything i ended up getting really sick from food we ate at the mall, but we stayed and toured everything then he had reservations to the roofs cafe! amazing food!!! and we got the perfect seat with the temple in the background, when we got to our seat he had a bouquet waiting for me :-)
It was beautiful
on thursday we went out and had a blast at Lagoon!!! it was hot, but go on a few water rides you got it made! Friday was our day to travel home first stopping at provo to get his old companion Rob to make it to our wedding reception, we arrived home around 7 or so seeing all my older siblings and his, first time a couple of mine met tanner and met my husband :0) and the next day we had the reception! There is nothing like being married i love falling asleep to someone who i love so so much and waking up to them, and nothing like tanner taking the covers at night :) we now realize if he's cold and takes the covers i'm not to cold i hate the hot weather and so i end up just taking all the sheets. at least we have a pattern, i am married to the most wonderful man in the world!!!
